Now that we know that Daniel Craig has refused to play Bond in the next film, the producers have gone in a fix to choose the new Bond. Although, there are lot of contenders for the franchise, but some have a greater chance than the others. Lets look at the 6 actors who can play the Bond with ease.
We are well verse with Damian’s acting skills from his roles in Band of Brothers, Homeland, and Billions. Not only just his acting, he looks good in just everything. From a mustache to a chiseled clean face, Damian Lewis can be our next Roger Moore in disguise.
Do we even need to say anything about him? This handsome hunk with his beefed up body can create some amazing action sequences as the Bond and can be the perfect replacement to Daniel Craig’s version of the Bond. Plus his experience as Superman will come in handy.
One of the most amazing actors of our generation, Tom Hardy even got a special mention at the Oscars from Leonardo DiCaprio. He for sure is a special talent and can fit in whichever role he is given.
The charmer, ladies man. “I’d like to bring a certain British charm to the part,” Hiddleston said when asked why he should be Bond. The Thor actor would be a unique choice and he’d definitely look dapper in a suit, but whether directors will back him to bring enough ‘oomph’ remains to be seen.
Just watch his scenes early on in X-Men: First Class for a look at Fassbender’s potential as Bond. His voice is amazing, his acting skills are at par with anyone, he can look charming and dangerous at the same time. What else do we need? Although i doubt he will want to become the next bond, given his habit of taking challenging roles. But you never know
My personal favorite. Plenty of Ian Fleming fans want The Wire actor to be the first black Bond, but that could be exactly what is putting him off. “I just don’t want to be the black James Bond,” he said. “Sean Connery wasn’t the Scottish James Bond and Daniel Craig wasn’t the blue-eyed James Bond so if I played him I don’t want to be called the black James Bond.”
That’s not to say he isn’t humbled by the support, and we reckon he’d be a top choice.
