I’ll Wait For The Next One
I’ll Wait For The Next One (J’Attendrai Le Suivant) was released in 2002, directed by Philippe Orreindy. For a movie having a runtime of just 4 minutes, all the praise it got was remarkable. It won 12 different film awards and was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Film.
“A man on a crowded metro train gathers the attention of the passengers in his train car, saying that he has an announcement to make. The passengers at first seem to think that the man is one of the typical train-entertainers that frequent metro trains. But the man says that he is simply looking for love.”
The movie is undoubtedly an amazing drama but to manage that in under 4 minutes is an achievement in itself. The less you know before watching this is better, revealing more could definitely ruin the whole premise of the movie.
