This movie is based on the life of Chopper Read, a criminal who kidnapped and tortured other criminals and starting his own gang in Australia. He is believed to have killed 19 people and tried to murder 11 others.
3. Bonnie & Clyde (1967)
This movie is based on the gangsters Bonnie and Clyde, who robbed banks and killed lawmen throughout the Midwest in the 1920s and 1930s.
4. American Gangster (2007)
This film stars Denzel Washington as Frank Lucas, a crime boss and drug dealer who ruled parts of Harlem in the 1960s and 1970s.
5. Legend (2015)
The film tells the story of the identical twin gangsters Reggie and Ronnie Kray, two of the most notorious criminals in British history, and their organised crime empire in the East End of London during the 1960s.
6. Psycho (1960)
The movie is based on the murders committed by Ed Gein, a serial killer who made trophies of his victims.
7. Casino (1995)
Although the movie depicts the fictional Tangiers hotel, the movie itself is based on Frank Rosenthal, who ran the last mob-owned casinos in Las Vegas: the Stardust, Fremont and Hacienda casinos.
