I talked about so many things and forgot ‘Bhabhi ji Ghar pe Hain’! (Is Sister-in-law at Home?) Bad translation I know!
How could I do such a big blunder like that? Many of us must have been forced to view this Hindi comedy with our family and to our surprise, would have started developing quite an interest in it after just 1-2 episodes. There is no need to shy away from the fact that many of us are becoming true fans of Bhabhiji Ghar pe Hain for all the right reasons.
Well, it is hard not to fall in love with the show and the natural cast of actors for whom doing comedy looks like a piece of cakewalk when it’s supposed to be one of the toughest acting genres. The show set in the city of Kanpur succeeds in keeping its audience glued to the screen for more and more fun!
Show summary: Now this show has two Bhabhijis, one is Anita Bhabhi (Saumya Tandon); the petite and elegant and the other is Angoori Bhabhi (Shilpa Shinde); the voluptuous, curvaceous and too bhola (innocent). The husbands of the respective wives, Vibhuti Mishra (Aashif Sheikh) and Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitash Gaud) are more inclined to impress each other’s wives rather than their own. The umpteen numbers of ways they try to do that makes every show highly interesting to watch.
The rest of the actors are intrinsic in completing the Kanpur-iya essence of the show with the paan spitting, well-oiled moustachio inspector, the rickshaw walah who is mute and only speaks through his 32 or 34 teeth, the ‘I like it’ dude who says I like it like he just finished his bed work, to name a few.
Do catch a glimpse of the show in the clip below for a fun time-pass. It’s genuinely funny! I swear!
